If you’re here to learn about Adult Autism Assessments, you’ve probably been exploring the possibility of being neurodivergent for awhile. Maybe you’ve read a lot of books, listened to a lot podcasts, and gone down the rabbit hole of reels that resonate deeply with your own lived experience. Hopefully this page will answer any questions you have about the assessment process, (if it doesn’t, feel free to email me!) and help you decide if an assessment is right for you.

For a lot of people looking for an assessment, they find me because a previous provider told them they couldn’t possibly be Autistic because they make eye contact/have a degree/have had relationships/are employed/any other stereotypes that indicate a provider is not informed on the nuanced ways autism can present in high-masking adults. You deserve to be heard by someone who gets it on both the clinical and personal levels.

Assessment Packages

Full Assessment
$950

A comprehensive Adult Autism Assessment is typically completed in 2-3 interview sessions that are 90 minutes to 2 hours. I use the MIGDAS-2 (an interview-style test that is neuro-affirming, and takes into consideration masking and traits that have shown up throughout the lifespan,) and several other tests that examine depression, anxiety, trauma, and Autistic traits that might otherwise go unnoticed.

Following your interview sessions, we will schedule a Results and Report Review Session (30 minutes) to discuss the outcome of your assessment. You will receive a written report prior to this session that outlines your history, traits, diagnoses, (if applicable,) resources, and recommendations.

If your assessment results in an Autism diagnosis, I will also include a letter that includes dates and times of our interview sessions and the diagnosis. (This is a good option for folx who would like to access accommodations for work or school, but do not want to share a full report that includes historical and private information.)

Basic Assessment
$700

This package includes the same assessment process as the Full Assessment, without the full written report. After your interview sessions, we will schedule a session to review results. You’ll receive a simplified report that outlines test scores and any applicable diagnoses.

Neurodivergence Exploration
$450

If you’re feeling hesitant to embark on a full assessment process or looking more for confirmation without an official diagnosis, this package is the way to go. Prior to our two 90 minute sessions, you’ll complete a questionnaire that helps give us some insight into any potential neurodivergent traits. During our sessions, you will have the opportunity to explore your strengths, struggles, and how these have shown up in your lived experience. After our sessions, you’ll have a better understanding of yourself, and how your neurotype colors your approach to relationships, daily tasks, work/school, communication, passions, and goals.
