For a lot of people looking for an assessment, they find me because a previous provider told them they couldn’t possibly be Autistic because they make eye contact/have a degree/have had relationships/are employed/any other stereotypes that indicate a provider is not informed on the nuanced ways autism can present in high-masking adults. You deserve to be heard by someone who gets it on both the clinical and personal levels.
